We are a leading global crypto exchange with a global licensing footprint and strong growth momentum. We are hiring a Chief Operating Officer to oversee and scale our global fiat business, with a strong emphasis on operations, execution, and infrastructure build-out.
This is a leadership role for someone who has deep fiat/payment operation expertise, has led large teams, and can operate at both strategic and hands-on levels in a fast-moving, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end fiat business, ensuring operational quality, stability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional fiat operations teams across regions.
- Manage merchant relationships: onboarding, integration, performance, and issue resolution.
- Drive API integrations with partners, PSPs, banks, and vendors.
- Optimize fiat on/off-ramp operations with third-party providers.
- Expand card payments and alternative payment methods.
- Build banking relationships across jurisdictions for compliance and robustness.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Product, Tech, and Finance on regulatory and UX alignment.
- Improve processes, SLAs, controls, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in payments, banking, fintech, or crypto, focused on fiat/payment operations.
- Prior experience at a top crypto exchange owning fiat or payments operations.
- Proven leadership of large regional/global teams with strong people management.
- Deep knowledge of payment rails, card networks, banking integrations, PSPs, and merchant acquiring.
- Hands-on with API integrations and payment workflows.
- Experience in regulated environments; crypto/digital asset background a plus.
- Strong stakeholder skills for partners, banks, and senior leaders.
- Thrives in fast-growth, high-accountability settings.
