Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel to IMDA on regulatory, corporate, and industry development matters.
- Draft contracts, manage compliance, and advise on litigation and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate on legislative and policy development with stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks through governance policies..
- Advise on regulatory affairs in Telecommunications, Post, Media, and Data Protection.
- Support IMDA in developing and enforcing legal frameworks.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and regulatory instruments.
- Manage litigation and contentious issues where required.
- Provide legal risk management strategies and ensure compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Law.
- Must be admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of Singapore.
- 6-8 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Experience in corporate in-house counsel role or legal practice (preferred in TMT, ICT, or Data Protection sectors).
- Prior litigation experience is advantageous.
- Strong foundation in TMT/ICT law, competition law, and administrative law.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore's data protection regulations (PDPA).
- Contract drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and advisory skills.
