Chief Financial Officer (SGX-Listed/Automotive)

Responsibilities

• Finance & Accounting Leadership – Oversee accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, cash flow, budgeting and overall finance operations.
• Financial Planning & Reporting – Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing, management reporting, forecasting and statutory reporting.
• Strategic Finance & Business Partnering – Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO, Board and shareholders to support business decisions.
• Governance, Risk & Internal Controls – Strengthen financial controls, risk management and governance frameworks, including inventory, revenue recognition, working capital and customer deposits.
• Corporate Transactions & Listing Readiness – Lead finance-related workstreams for strategic transactions and establish reporting and governance standards required for potential listing readiness.
• Stakeholder & Finance Team Leadership – Manage relationships with auditors, banks and professional advisers while building and developing a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications

• Professional Finance Background – Accountancy degree holder, ideally with a recognised professional accounting certification.
• Public-Listed Environment – Proven exposure to finance operations within an SGX-listed or similar publicly traded organisation.
• Corporate Reporting & Controls – Experienced in statutory and corporate reporting, audit processes, financial controls and supporting Board-level governance matters.
• Strong Technical Accounting Knowledge – Well-versed in Singapore financial reporting standards, consolidation, tax, treasury and liquidity management.
• Relevant Commercial Exposure – Experience in businesses with significant inventory, cash-flow and working-capital requirements, such as automotive, retail or distribution, would be beneficial.
