Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Engineering Conglomerates

Chief Financial Officer will take overall ownership of the Group's financial leadership, governance framework, and commercial decision-making.

This role partners closely with the senior leadership to support sustainable growth, financial discipline, and long-term strategic objectives across the organization.

• Lead and develop the Group finance function, setting clear direction, accountability, and performance standards across the team

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior management, translating financial data into actionable business and strategic insights

• Drive group-wide financial planning activities, including budgeting cycles, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial modelling

• Establish and maintain robust financial governance, internal controls, and accounting frameworks in line with statutory and professional standards

• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and tax obligations across multiple legal entities

• Oversee periodic financial reporting, including management accounts, board-level reporting, and required disclosures

• Manage group consolidation and provide clear financial visibility to the Board, shareholders, and external stakeholders

• Partner project and operational teams on financial matters such as project costing, funding structures, risk assessment, and commercial reviews

• Lead treasury and liquidity management, including cash flow planning, financing arrangements, and banking relationships

• Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, legal counsel, and regulatory authorities.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, reporting processes, and internal control environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field
• Strong understanding of financial controls, statutory reporting, audit, and tax compliance
• In senior finance roles, with demonstrated progression into leadership and decision-making responsibilities
• Experience operating within multi-entity or group structures, including consolidation and senior-level reporting.
• Exposure to regulated or listed-company environments, with an understanding of governance, disclosure, and compliance expectations
• Strong grounding in financial controls, audit management, statutory reporting, and tax matters
• Practical experience working with banking partners, auditors, advisors, and other external stakeholders
