Position Overview:
How I Care Pte Ltd (HIC) is growing and is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join our expanding team who can be able to lead and guide our financial systems, support the company's business growth and ensure that our finances are positioned for continued success.
Main responsibilities include overseeing the finance department on a day-to-day basis, managing budgets and forecasts, providing financial advice to the CEO and Board, ensuring regulatory compliance of company's operations and assisting the company in its efforts to strengthen and grow its financial position.
The ideal candidate will understand current accounting practices and trends, have a proven track record in a similar role with a minimum work experience of 3 to 5 years, strong leadership skills and a strong ability to work effectively with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the company's objectives.
- Create long-term financial plans.
- Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities which may include mergers and acquisitions.
- Oversee all finance and accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage and track cash flow statements.
- Ensure accuracy and on-time completion of all financial reports.
- Handling tax planning and compliance matters.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
- Communicate financial performance, risks and opportunities to various stakeholders.
- Act as the primary financial spokesperson for the company to the Board of Directors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis risk management and forecasting.
- Strong ethical standards and high level of integrity.
- Strong background in finance or accounting.
- Experience with finance software and MS Office.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree or equivalent experience in business accounting, or finance.
- Professional certification (i.e. Certified Public Accountant).
