Job Summary
As the highest-ranking executive, you will lead the company by shaping strategic direction, driving operational excellence, and representing the organization to key stakeholders. You will ensure sustainable growth by making impactful decisions and fostering a strong organizational culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of long- and short-term organizational strategies to drive business growth and innovation
- Manage overall company operations, making major decisions that align with strategic goals and optimize resource allocation
- Negotiate and approve agreements and contracts to support organizational objectives and partnerships
- Design and oversee the company's organizational structure to enhance efficiency and accountability
- Communicate effectively with the board of directors, stockholders, government entities, and the general public as the company's primary spokesperson
- Assess and mitigate risks to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide company-wide leadership by inspiring teams and fostering a culture aligned with the company's mission and vision
- Identify and resolve company-wide challenges through strategic problem-solving and collaboration with senior stakeholders
- Implement strategic plans by coordinating cross-functional efforts and tracking progress against key performance indicators
- Evaluate organizational performance regularly to ensure achievement of strategic goals and continuous improvement
Required Competencies And Certifications
- Proven supervisory and management experience from the same industry, demonstrating progressive responsibility in upper management roles
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop executive-level teams and manage complex organizational challenges
- Native-level fluency in Japanese is required to independently handle complex negotiations and abstract professional topics with stakeholders in Japan
