We are an established buffet catering company in Singapore providing food services for corporate functions, weddings, private events and large-scale gatherings. We specialise in both Asian and Western cuisine and are committed to delivering high-quality food and professional catering solutions.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Chief Cook to oversee and manage full kitchen operations for our catering business. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, and actively participating in daily large-scale food preparation.
Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations independently
Plan, design, and update catering menus for various events
Actively prepare and cook a wide range of Asian and Western dishes
Handle large-volume food preparation for small to large-scale events
Lead and supervise kitchen staff while working alongside the team
Ensure food quality, taste consistency, and presentation standards
Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Monitor inventory, control food costs, and manage stock ordering
Coordinate with operations team to ensure timely event execution
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant cooking experience (catering experience preferred)
Proven experience managing a kitchen independently
Strong experience in menu planning and cost control
Proficient in both Asian and Western cuisine
Physically fit and able to work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment
Able to start work at 5:00 AM
Able to stand for long hours
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on working attitude
Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required
