Job Summary
Join our team as a Chief Cook to prepare and cook menu items that meet company and Halal standards, maintain kitchen hygiene, manage inventory, and support daily kitchen operations to deliver consistent, high-quality food.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
- Apply Halal requirements strictly in all food preparation processes to maintain certification compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen to meet health and safety standards.
- Follow food safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe food handling
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, place stock orders, and control costs to optimize kitchen operations
- Implement and enforce SOPs to maintain operational consistency and efficiency.
- Support daily kitchen operations by coordinating with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely food preparation.
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience to perform core cooking and kitchen management duties effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to work independently and handle fast-paced kitchen environments
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays to meet operational needs
Other Information
- Salary Range: SGD 3500-5000 (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 6 days per week
- Location: 118 Rivervale Plaza
