We are a MUIS Halal-certified food and beverage company in Singapore, operating a full-service restaurant with a focus on quality food, strict Halal compliance, and operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced Chief Cook to join our growing team.

Job Summary

Join our team as a Chief Cook to prepare and cook menu items that meet company and Halal standards, maintain kitchen hygiene, manage inventory, and support daily kitchen operations to deliver consistent, high-quality food.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
  • Apply Halal requirements strictly in all food preparation processes to maintain certification compliance
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen to meet health and safety standards.
  • Follow food safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe food handling
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, place stock orders, and control costs to optimize kitchen operations
  • Implement and enforce SOPs to maintain operational consistency and efficiency.
  • Support daily kitchen operations by coordinating with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely food preparation.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience to perform core cooking and kitchen management duties effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and handle fast-paced kitchen environments
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays to meet operational needs

Other Information

  • Salary Range: SGD 3500-5000 (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 6 days per week
  • Location: 118 Rivervale Plaza
