Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Site Specialist to support laboratory operations within a fragrance and formulation (F&F) environment. This role requires hands-on laboratory work and operating laboratory automation equipment, including the Contexa robot.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Completing and reviewing work assignments, adjusting workload and resources with the team as required

• Mentoring and cross-training staff with standardized training programs and documentation

• Implementing quality management systems to ensure work scope, results, and team performance meet approved SOPs and safety standards

• Participating in cost, quality, and efficiency improvement initiatives

• Coordinating and ensuring timely calibration of laboratory equipment

• Maintaining good laboratory housekeeping standards

Laboratory Operations Duties:

• Performing perfume compounding and material selection according to formulations

• Updating compounding information in the Electronic Lab Notebook

• Ensuring clean tools are used for weighing processes

• Preparing materials for odor evaluations

• Managing end-to-end (E2E) material management processes

• Supporting shipment of compounded materials with complete documentation

• Operating and maintaining the Contexa laboratory robot

This is a laboratory-based role. Candidates must be comfortable working in a laboratory setting and handling automated laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Applied Chemistry / Perfumery and Cosmetic Sciences / Chemical Engineering

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a chemistry laboratory environment (preferred)

• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and quality guidelines (cGMP)

• Strong technical and hands-on skills with good problem-solving ability

• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with laboratory robots (advantageous)

• Good interpersonal and coordination skills with ability to multi-task

• Independent, self-motivated, and adaptable in a dynamic environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
