CHEMIST CUM PROCESSING ENGINEER

Analytical Laboratory:

. Process control (Eg. Production parameter control)

. Quality control (Eg. Finished goods periodical testing)

. Familiar with the operations/technique of analytical instruments

. R&D of new processes on a lab-scale

. Maintain and control of laboratory analytical and testing records

Process:

. Perform First-Article testing for new customers or parts, prior to mass production

. Perform review/gap analysis on customer's specifications for chemical processes, with adequate process
control measures

. Involve in quality issues investigations, trouble shooting,root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

. Lead investigations for recovery action on any non-conformity

. Control of chemical logistics for entirety of production

Waste-water treatment plant (WTP):

. Manage and maintain WTP at optimum system performancefor treatment of chemical waste

. Troubleshoot WTP system issues when waste discharge is non-compliant to Trade Effluent standards

. All other tasks that might be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

. 2+ years of experience in a chemical processing or manufacturing environment.

. Strong knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.

. Familiarity with process control systems (e.g., DCS, PLC) isa plus.

. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

. Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
