Chemical Technician (5days or Shift rotation/West)

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment and plant machinery according to operating procedures.

• Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and chemical levels to ensure stable operations.

• Conduct sampling and basic chemical testing to maintain product quality.

• Assist in startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting of plant processes.

• Record process data, production logs, and operational reports accurately.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and plant SOPs.

• Handle and transfer raw materials, chemicals, and finished products safely.

• Perform basic equipment checks, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping.

• Identify operational issues and report abnormalities to supervisors or engineers.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Process Technology, or related field.

• 1 year of experience in chemical plant or manufacturing operations is preferred.

• Basic understanding of chemical processes, plant equipment, and safety procedures.
