Role Overview:
Responsible for operating and maintaining chemical processing and support equipment, ensuring smooth production workflows, safety compliance, and quality control in a pilot-scale manufacturing environment.
Core Duties:
- Conduct material testing using instruments such as TGA analyzers and tensile strength testers.
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical components like pumps, valves, mixers, and tanks.
- Manage chemical receiving, unloading, and storage in line with standard operating procedures.
- Support fibre processing and wetlaid operations, including batch documentation and traceability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Chemical Process Technology, or equivalent certifications (e.g., WSQ in Chemical Operations and WSH).
- Hands-on experience with lab and plant equipment including mixers, pumps, and valves.
