Routinely check plant equipment at scheduled intervals as per the Field Operation Checklist and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
Offload Sodium Bicarbonate solution from ISO tankers.
Operate forklift to clear fly ash bins and scrap drum bins.
Check main scrubber inlet for salt deposits, scrubber water pH, sump pits, feeding pump area, tank farm, kiln gap, and ash conveyor conditions.
Assist Boiler Technician with clearing fire tubes, turbine start-up, filter replacement, and filter press cleaning activities.
Maintain all pumps in good operating condition and ensure cleanliness of the area.
Operate crane to feed sludge bags into the hopper.
Inspect waste conditions from drums, bags, bins, and loose waste.
Clean the ram feeder and hopper at routine intervals.
Maintain good housekeeping at the workplace before every end-shift handover.
Collect weekly and ad-hoc samples for laboratory analysis when requested.
Plant Operation Control
Monitor plant operations and troubleshoot issues such as weak atomization flow.
Ensure feeding pumps are operating properly and maintain cleanliness of the surrounding area.
Record plant operating parameters to monitor plant health and performance.
Ensure incinerator parameters are in good working condition.
Compile and review daily operation reports.
Work and communicate effectively with all staff to achieve maximum safe operating capacity of the plant.
Counter-check and report any safety lapses observed during routine activities.
Requirements:
Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or equivalent.
Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in the oil and petrochemical industries.
Good understanding of process plant operations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work collaboratively as a team.
Willing to work rotating shifts.
Proficient in basic computer applications.
Remuneration:
Basic salary: $1,900 - $2,700
Entitled to Overtime / Shift Allowance
Working hours (12-hour rotating shift): Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm) Saturday (8am - 12pm) / 4 Day Shift (8am - 8pm), 4 Night Shift (8pm - 8am) 1 Off Day and 1 Rest Day
Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if candidate manages own transport
