Chef (Indian Cuisine)
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef (Indian Cuisine) to join our mini-restaurant specializing in authentic Indian food. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing traditional Indian dishes and be committed to delivering high-quality food consistently.
You will be responsible for daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards while working efficiently in a small, fast-paced restaurant environment.
Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes (e.g. curries, breads, rice dishes, snacks)
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards
Manage daily food preparation and kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety regulations
Monitor inventory levels and minimize food wastage
Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook specializing in Indian cuisine
Knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods
Ability to work independently in a small kitchen setup
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Familiar with food hygiene and safety standards
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Physically fit and able to work in a kitchen environment
