Prepare and cook assigned dishes according to the menu while maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and equipment safety in compliance with company and government regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook assigned dishes accurately according to the menu for serving
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area, processing equipment, and cooking utensils at all times
- Process all food following company policies and government regulatory controls to ensure safety and quality
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any faulty equipment to the immediate superior promptly
- Comply with hygiene and safety regulations set by the company, clients, and government authorities
- Adhere to Compass Singapore Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems and procedures consistently
- Follow all on-site Emergency Response plans to ensure workplace safety
- Identify, assess, and control hazards and risks by following established procedures
- Maintain food handling standards and implement the food safety plan at all times to prevent contamination
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior
