Job Summary

You will manage daily food preparation and coordinate kitchen tasks to meet company quality standards while ensuring hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily food items following company quality standards and assigned duties
  • Ensure compliance with all legally required hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen and related areas
  • Maintain high cleanliness and safety standards in food preparation and storage areas
  • Coordinate daily kitchen tasks effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist in supervising line cooks or commis to support kitchen workflow and quality control
  • Estimate daily food production needs and inspect raw and cooked food products to meet quality standards
  • Monitor food production, preparation, and presentation to maintain the highest quality levels
  • Achieve and sustain high guest satisfaction by managing food quality, operational efficiency, and food costs
  • Apply knowledge of standard procedures and policies for food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation
  • Maintain full awareness of menu items, including recipes, production methods, and presentation standards
  • Follow proper food preservation standards to handle all food products at correct temperatures
  • Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of food items within the kitchen section
