Job Summary

You will manage daily food preparation and coordinate kitchen tasks to meet company quality standards while ensuring hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily food items according to company standards and assigned duties to maintain quality
  • Ensure compliance with all legally required hygiene and safety practices to maintain cleanliness and safety in kitchen and related areas
  • Coordinate daily tasks effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations
  • Assist in supervising line cooks or commis to maintain workflow and quality standards
  • Estimate daily production needs and inspect raw and cooked food products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain high-quality production, preparation, and presentation of food items consistently
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, food quality, operational efficiency, and food costs continuously
  • Apply knowledge of standard procedures and policies for food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation
  • Maintain full awareness of menu items, including recipes, production methods, and presentation standards
  • Follow proper food preservation standards by handling all food products at correct temperatures
  • Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of food items within the kitchen section
