We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. This role is ideal for someone with strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and a passion for both classic and modern European techniques.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a specific kitchen section (grill, saut, cold kitchen, or pastry).
- Prepare and cook dishes according to True Cost standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure all mise en place is prepared efficiently and consistently.
- Supervise and support commis chefs and junior staff in daily operations.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety at all times.
- Assist with menu development, seasonal specials, and event-specific menus.
- Monitor stock levels, control wastage, and assist with ordering as needed.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth service flow.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen areas.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef.
- Solid background in European cuisine fusion or international experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Good communication and ability to work as part of a team.
- High standards for consistency, plating, and food presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Must be Singaporean, PR, or LTVP holder.
