Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the sushi kiosk
  • Prepare and present sushi items (nigiri, sashimi, rolls) to company standards
  • Ensure quality, freshness, and consistency of all food products
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards
  • Supervise and guide junior staff / fresh crew
  • Ensure proper display and merchandising of sushi products
  • Handle customer enquiries and provide good service when required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sushi preparation (Japanese cuisine preferred)
  • Experience in a supervisory or Chef de Partie role is an advantage
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible, hands-on, and good team player
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
