Responsibilities
- Assist Head and Sous Chef in ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Prepare, portion, and present food according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain full knowledge of menu items, recipes, and preparation methods.
- Monitor and ensure adequate stock of ingredients, equipment, and supplies.
- Store food products properly with correct handling and usage.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in all kitchen areas.
- Ensure regular maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and record food wastage accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal food quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant culinary experience.
- Possess a valid Basic Food and Hygiene Certificate.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High standard of personal hygiene.
