Responsibilities

  • Assist Head and Sous Chef in ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
  • Prepare, portion, and present food according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain full knowledge of menu items, recipes, and preparation methods.
  • Monitor and ensure adequate stock of ingredients, equipment, and supplies.
  • Store food products properly with correct handling and usage.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in all kitchen areas.
  • Ensure regular maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
  • Assist with monthly inventory counts and record food wastage accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal food quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant culinary experience.
  • Possess a valid Basic Food and Hygiene Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High standard of personal hygiene.
