Chartering & Operation Executive

Responsibilities:

1. Chartering & Contract Management Identify and evaluate suitable vessels in the spot and time charter markets, participate in charter party negotiations, and review contract terms to ensure alignment with company commercial and operational objectives.

2. Voyage Operations Manage the execution of voyages, including voyage planning, coordination with shipowners, brokers, terminals, and agents, and monitoring vessel performance to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

3. Contract Administration & Cost Control Administer charter party obligations, including hire calculation, off-hire verification, demurrage/despatch assessment, and review of voyage-related costs and invoices.

4. Market Intelligence & Internal Coordination Monitor freight market developments and provide operational insights to internal teams, while coordinating with trading, finance, and risk management departments to support business activities.

5. Commodity Trading Operations and Support Provide operational support to commodity trading activities, ensuring accurate trade execution, coordination across internal functions, alignment between trading, logistics, and settlement processes, and effective engagement with external counterparties and customers to facilitate smooth transaction execution.

6. New Business Development Coordination

Support international business expansion in Southeast Asian markets and assist in the development of new trading products, emerging business models, and opportunities in the new energy sector through market research, coordination, and execution support.

7. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Business, Economics or related disciplines.
2. 1-3 years of experience in shipping, chartering, vessel operations, commodity trading, or logistics. experience in dry bulk/tanker/LNG commodities trading operations is an advantage.
3. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple vayages simultaneously.
4. Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
