We are looking to hire an experienced Chartering Manager to strengthen our dry bulk chartering desk, covering PG and the Indian Ocean, with a focus on Handysize to Panamax vessels
Job Description
- Fixing vessels on voyage and time charter basis within the assigned regions
- Actively sourcing cargoes, vessels, and business opportunities
- Managing relationships with charterers, owners, operators, and brokers
- Negotiating main terms and concluding fixtures
- Drafting and negotiating Charter Party Agreements
- Monitoring market developments and providing commercial input
- Maintaining and expanding a network of clients and counterparties
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chartering / Freight Manager in dry bulk shipping
- Solid market knowledge of PG and Indian Ocean trades
- Hands-on experience with Handysize to Panamax segments
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Ability to work independently and manage fixtures end-to-end
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
