Worldwide communication with satellite offices, brokers, agents, owners and charterers
Following performance of voyages and work closely with Operations Department
Traveling to meet new and existing Clients, as well as participating in various events
Setting up and executing strategies fitting long term view of the Company
Taking lead and ownership on new projects
Job Requirements:
Degree in Maritime Studies or related field, or equivalent relevant experience/ apprenticeship
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate with internal teams and international stakeholders in a global business environment.
Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate and negotiate with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders in the steel industry.
Aptitude to negotiate and close business deals
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Adaptable to an international working environment
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
Expertise in international shipping and contract law is essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness and ability to travel regularly for business purposes, as required by the role
