Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing Case Management and Afterlife Memorial Services for elderly members, ensuring compassionate, efficient, and compliant service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all assigned funeral cases to ensure dignified and timely service delivery aligned with organizational standards
- Liaise effectively with families, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage logistics and ensure accurate documentation throughout funeral processes
- Provide empathetic emotional support and clear information to clients or their families via phone to assist with decision-making and ease during difficult times
- Accurately input, update, and maintain funeral case data in the internal database to ensure data integrity for reporting and compliance
- Assist with setup, coordination, and execution of on-site duties during funeral and memorial services to support smooth operations
- Participate in hotline rotation to promptly respond to inquiries and provide assistance during and outside regular working hours
- Deliver ad hoc logistical and administrative support for community and memorial events organized by the eldercare team, contributing to event success
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum Diploma in Social Work or related disciplines
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in eldercare or social service settings
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and reporting
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license would be advantageous
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking beneficiaries
- Demonstrated maturity, independence, and compassion in eldercare
- Good understanding of Social Service and Voluntary Welfare Organization (VWO) settings
