Position summary

The Change Management Senior Specialist will play a pivotal role in the Strategic Execution and Change Management Function within the Global Services Business of the Materials and Structural Analysis Division. This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead change initiatives and improve colleague engagement in APJ, driving and aligning regional efforts with global strategic objectives.

Building strong connections within the organization, leading multiple concurrent change and communication initiatives with clarity and impact, and ensuring the effective deployment of plans are the keys to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead change and engagement initiatives in APJ, aligning with global objectives and addressing regional needs.
  • Develop and implement change and communication strategies to keep colleagues engaged and encouraging of change.
  • Lead regional communication efforts and craft impactful communications tailored to APJ colleagues, ensuring consistency with global messages.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and gaps, developing strategies to ensure colleague engagement and change success.
  • Establish relationships within APJ and the global organization to ensure strategy alignment and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in change management and communications within large, global matrixed organizations with an emphasis on change management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Communications, or a related field Change Management certifications (Prosci, CMPP, etc.) are a significant plus.
  • Expert in crafting and implementing change impact, gap, and risk assessments and communication strategies for change success.
  • Proven track record of developing engaging communications (Articles, Leadership messages, Town Hall presentations) and managing channels like SharePoint, Viva Engage, and Newsletters.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and collaborating with senior leaders.
  • Proficient in English (verbal and professional writing) proficiency in additional APAC languages is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Proven project management, organizational and strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to successfully balance multiple projects and navigate competing priorities.
  • Curious to explore creative methods and new technologies (i.e. AI tools, Microsoft products, etc.) for communication. Adobe Creative Suite or Photoshop knowledge is a plus.
  • Savvy networker with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Flexible, excelling independently and in a team.
