We are seeking an experienced IT Change Management Consultant to manage and govern changes within the IT environment. The role involves ensuring that IT changes are properly assessed, approved, documented, and implemented with minimal disruption to business operations while following established change management processes.
Manage and oversee the IT Change Management process in alignment with IT governance and policies.
Review, assess, and approve change requests (RFCs) to ensure completeness, risk evaluation, and compliance.
Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders for change planning and implementation.
Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and document outcomes.
Ensure proper impact assessment, risk analysis, and rollback plans are in place for all changes.
Monitor change implementation to minimize service disruptions and incidents.
Maintain and improve IT change management policies, processes, and documentation.
Track and report change metrics, KPIs, and compliance.
Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices.
Support major releases, emergency changes, and change scheduling.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong experience in IT Change Management processes and governance.
Good understanding of ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
Experience working with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, or similar.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple changes across complex IT environments.
ITIL Foundation / ITIL Certification
Experience in enterprise IT environments
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud environments
Experience supporting large-scale system deployments or releases
Typically 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management or Change Management.
