Job Description
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of core programmes and daily activities under Shan You Wellness Community (SYWC), ensuring services remain relevant, responsive, and foster community engagement and social interaction.
- Provide overall supervision of all social service programmes, ensuring effective programme delivery, service quality and alignment with organisation's objectives.
- Oversee operations activities, including manpower planning, volunteer coordination, and optimal resource allocation, to ensure smooth and effective programme execution.
- Monitor, evaluate and review programme outcomes to ensure that objectives are met and that initiatives deliver meaningful benefits to the community.
- Ensure all programmes adhere to best practices, the Charities Act and Regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records to support operational accountability and audit preparedness.
- Uphold the Centre's code of conduct, organisational policies, and standard operating procedures, supporting strong governance and accountability in programme operations.
- Attend monthly meetings at headquarter to present monthly report of centre activities update.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Community Development, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in centre operations, programme management or community services, preferably within the social service sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bilingual proficiency (spoken and written) would be advantageous to engage with diverse community groups.
- Demonstrates creativity and initiative by proposing new events and activities to enhance the centre and foster community engagement.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to interact effectively with beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
- May be required to work on Saturdays (half day) when operational needs arise.
