Job Description

Lead and grow an education centre team in a dynamic, child-focused environment. Our client is hiring a Centre Manager with experience in student care or enrichment to oversee daily operations, staff performance, and parent engagement. 44-hour work week with occasional Saturday coverage.

We're supporting a leading education and student care provider in the search for a Centre Manager to oversee one of their flagship after-school enrichment centres.

The ideal candidate is a people-centred leader who thrives on guiding teams, building parent trust, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced education environment.

About the Role

As the Centre Manager, you'll take charge of both operational performance and people management, ensuring a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for students and staff.

You'll play a key role in:

  • Leading and motivating centre staff to maintain daily operational excellence
  • Overseeing programme delivery, class scheduling, and student welfare
  • Upholding compliance with licensing, safety, and operational standards
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with parents and stakeholders
  • Driving enrolment retention through service quality and centre reputation
  • Planning and executing student engagement initiatives and events

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in Education, Early Childhood, Psychology, Business, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in student care or enrichment settings
  • Proven leadership and people-management ability
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to multitask and adapt in a dynamic education environment
  • Passionate about nurturing children and supporting staff growth

Working Hours & Roster

  • Standard 44-hour work week (5.5-day contractual arrangement)
  • Typically rostered Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday coverage as required)
