Centre for AI in Medicine (C-AIM) was established in 2023 as a multi-disciplinary team including clinicians, engineers, scientist, social scientist and educator focusing on AI research and education. This includes clinical studies, human-machine interaction as well as implementation science. It also aims to promote education and training of healthcare providers on the future of medical practice with AI.
Reporting to the Centre Director, the Centre Manager shall support the daily administration and operations of the Centre.
Responsibilities
Support the governance of the Centre including organizing and staffing of Advisory Board meeting
Manage Centre budget including research administration of funds and grants awarded to the Centre and preparation of annual budget requirements and reporting
Support staffing and work closely with HR partners on research staff recruitment plans
Facilitate the procurement process at the centre, working closely with NTU Procurement
Facilitate research collaboration agreements including liaison and negotiation with collaborators. This includes working with NTU/LKCMedicine Principal Investigators, external parties and legal office to execute research-related agreements
Coordinate meetings and working with internal and external collaborator parties to coordinate meetings for grant proposals and workshops
Plan and organize symposiums and workshops led by the Centre
Prepare publicity materials including brochures and website for the Centre, working closely with NTU Corporate Communications
Facilitate and supporting visiting academics to the Centre including preparation of visit programmes, and arranging collaborative meetings
Any other duties/ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
Good honours degree in Computer Science and Engineering/ Biomedical/Social Sciences. A Masters degree is advantageous
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a university, healthcare or research institute environment at a managerial level
Having project or programme management experience will beadvantageous
Good working knowledge of the Singapore research and healthcare landscape
Proven experience and familiarity working across corporate functions such asFinance, Human Resource, Procurement and Research Administration in a university, healthcare orresearch institute setting
Proficient in budgetary matters, well versed in communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications and standard office IT applications
