Job Summary

Lead and supervise kitchen operations in a fast-paced food production environment, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and efficient workflow management to deliver high-quality, fresh dishes that meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead kitchen staff to execute large-scale food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards including HACCP, SFA, and hygiene regulations
  • Plan and manage kitchen workflow and shift schedules to optimize operational efficiency and meet strict production deadlines
  • Oversee inventory management and purchasing processes to control costs and maintain adequate stock levels
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring equipment maintenance and food production systems function effectively
  • Apply problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and improve kitchen productivity
  • Communicate effectively with team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Utilize basic Microsoft Office or kitchen management systems to support operational reporting and scheduling

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a central kitchen, food production facility, or restaurant operations, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
