Our client is a premium student care centre designed to nurture children beyond academics - focusing on thinking, emotional growth, creativity, and expression.
They are seeking a Centre Manager who will take full ownership of centre operations, team leadership, parent experience, and programme execution. This role is critical in ensuring that our philosophy is not just a concept, but consistently delivered through daily operations.
【Responsibilities】
1. Centre Operations & Execution
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the centre (P1-P6 student care)
- Ensure smooth running of daily schedule (arrival, homework, programmes, dismissal)
- Maintain high standards in safety, hygiene, and student supervision
- Manage administrative processes (attendance, billing coordination, reporting)
2. Team Leadership & Culture Building
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of teachers/mentors
- Ensure all staff deliver according to center philosophy (guide, not instruct)
- Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and coaching
- Maintain a positive, professional, and aligned team culture
3. Parent Experience & Communication
- Act as the main point of contact for parents
- Build strong trust relationships with families
- Handle feedback, concerns, and sensitive situations professionally
- Provide regular updates on student progress and centre activities
4. Programme Execution & Quality Control
- Ensure proper execution of our programme
- Maintain consistency in programme delivery across all mentors
- Work closely with management to refine and improve programme quality
- Ensure alignment between operations and brand positioning
5. Student Development & Safeguarding
- Ensure student wellbeing, emotional safety, and positive development
- Handle behavioral cases with maturity and appropriate judgement
- Uphold strict safeguarding standards and ethical conduct at all times
6. Recruitment & Centre Growth Support
- Support student enrolment and parent engagement efforts
- Conduct centre tours and convert leads where required
- Assist in staffing (hiring, onboarding, training of mentors)
【Working Hours】
. School terms: Monday to Friday (11am-7pm)
. School holidays: Monday to Friday (7am-7pm, staggered 8 hours shift) . Annual leave 12 days . Medical Allowance: $500/year . Work Injury Compensation Insurance, WICA . Year end bonus or profit sharing
【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Minimum of a Diploma in Education, Early Childhood, Business Management, or related fields
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership and management experience in education, student care or childcare settings.
- Proficient in productivity and administrative tools, including Excel, Google Drive, and Canva.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR certification in the future (fully sponsored by the company).
- Able to join with 1 month's notice or a short period.
- Believes in guiding children, not controlling them, and values emotional development as much as academics
- Ability to handle challenging parent and student situations
(Advantageous)
- Degree in Education, Early Childhood, Business Management, or related fields.
- Possess First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience in premium/boutique education environments
- Familiarity with programme-based or inquiry-based learning approaches
