Cello Teacher

Melody Strings is an established premium music academy in Singapore since 2014. We are hiring a full-time Cello Teacher to join our team of passionate music educators.

Job Description:

• Conduct individual and group lessons tailored to students specific needs and skill levels.
• Teach G1 to G5 music theory and aural.
• Develop and customize lesson plans and curriculum to meet the learning objectives and musical goals of each student.
• Prepare students for the ABRSM examination, recital, concert, music festivals, and competitions.
• Able to master the instruments knowledge and promote the string instruments to parents.
• Other ad-hoc duties might be required as operational needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Cello Music performance
• At least 2 years of experience teaching Cello to students and all skill levels
• Knowledge of music theory, repertoire, and performance techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students to reach their full potential
• Applicants with piano accompaniment skills will be given preferential consideration for this position.
