Job Description:
- Implement and configure CDC pipelines using Qlik Replicate or similar tools.
- Develop and maintain data transformation, validation, and automation scripts.
- Perform sourcetotarget data mapping and ensure data integrity during replication.
- Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling.
- Work closely with business users, BA, and application teams to clarify requirements.
- Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments, including defect analysis and resolution.
- Monitor CDC jobs, identify issues, and escalate risks or errors appropriately.
- Maintain technical documentation, including mappings, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Assist in impact analysis for source system or schema changes.
- Support postgolive stabilization and knowledge transfer to operations teams.
Requirements:
Top 3 MUST have skills:
- Hands-on experience with CDC tools (e.g., Qlik Replicate) for data replication, configuration, and monitoring.
- Ability to write scripts or code (Python, SQL, Shell, or Java) to implement data transformations, validations, and automation tasks.
- Capability to gather and interpret business and functional requirements, translating them into technical CDC implementations.
Good to have skills (Optional):
- Knowledge of data quality, validation, and reconciliation.
- Experience with performance monitoring and error handling in CDC processes.
- Familiarity with version control or CI/CD for CDC scripts/configurations.
