CDC Technofunctional Engineer

Detailed Job Description
-Implement and configure CDC pipelines using Qlik Replicate or similar tools
-Develop and maintain data transformation, validation, and automation scripts
-Perform source-to-target data mapping and ensure data integrity during replication
-Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling
-Work closely with business users, BA, and application teams to clarify requirements
-Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments, including defect analysis and resolution
-Monitor CDC jobs, identify issues, and escalate risks or errors appropriately
-Maintain technical documentation, including mappings, configurations, and operational procedures
-Assist in impact analysis for source system or schema changes
-Support post-go-live stabilization and knowledge transfer to operations teams

Top 3 Must-have skills 1. Hands-on experience with CDC tools (e.g., Qlik Replicate, Informatica, Attunity) for data replication, configuration, and monitoring.
2. Ability to write scripts or code (Python, SQL, Shell, or Java) to implement data transformations, validations, and automation tasks.
3. Capability to gather and interpret business and functional requirements, translating them into technical CDC implementations.

Good to have skills (Optional)
-Knowledge of data quality, validation, and reconciliation
-Experience with performance monitoring and error handling in CDC processes
-Familiarity with version control or CI/CD for CD scripts/configurations
