We are looking for a hands-on and results-driven Catering Operations Manager to lead our daily operations and ensure seamless execution of events from start to finish. You will be responsible for overseeing the central kitchen operations, logistics, manpower deployment, and food quality to deliver exceptional catering experiences while maintaining profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee end-to-end central kitchen operations (food production, packing, and dispatch) to ensure smooth, efficient workflows and timely preparation and delivery to sites.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute catering events of all sizes, coordinating with sales, kitchen, and client teams.
- Logistics & Equipment: Oversee transport, on-site setup, and ensure all catering equipment is maintained and properly managed.
- Manpower & Team Management: Lead, mentor, schedule, and train kitchen staff and on-site service teams to meet operational demands.
- Cost Control & Inventory: Monitor inventory levels, stock control, food waste, and P&L accountability to meet budget objectives.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., SFA/HACCP), and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Customer Satisfaction: Liaise with clients during on-site setups and handle complaints or special requests professionally.
