Job Description:
- Assess referral cases to ensure that they are suitable for intake
- Identify and clarify the key issues to the problem situation, gather relevant information from CRS beneficiaries and their families, conduct needs and intake assessment to identify and assess severity, key risks and protective factors for intervention
- Use different modes of engagement for the purpose of assessment, intervention and monitoring
- Develop intervention plans under close supervision -analyze and evaluate courses of action, and formulate appropriate strategies for action
- Engage CRS beneficiaries and their families to sustain efforts in problem solving
- Conduct case review and individualized care plans -follow up and review case plans and provide recommendations to modify plans, where necessary
- Document and maintain case files and prepare reports according to the required documentation standard
- Assist in and conduct group work that aim to develop target group of CRS beneficiaries and their families
- Participate in developmental programmes and supervision for personal and professional growth and development.
- Assist in the promotion of programmes and advise CRS beneficiaries and their families to undertake relevant programmes and services based on families assessed needs.(eg. to promote the understanding of CRS services, programmes and events available)
- Network with other agencies and tap on community resources to provide intervention support to CRS beneficiaries and their families
- Assist in data collection and support action research activities
- Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor / Head of Department
- Programme Evaluation & Research Support
o Participate in organisational research and evaluation projects to strengthen evidence-based practice.
o Collect qualitative and quantitative data (e.g. interviews,surveys, case notes, outcome measures).
o Support the implementation of research tools, questionnaires, and evaluation frameworks.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation
o Assist in coding, thematic analysis, and interpretation of qualitative data.
o Support basic quantitative analysis and outcome tracking where required.
o Contribute practice-based insights to contextualise research findings.
- Practice-Research Integration
o Translate research findings into practice improvements, service enhancements, or policy recommendations.
o Apply research insights to refine intervention approaches and programme design.
o Support pilot testing of new interventions or practice models.
- Research Ethics & Governance
o Support informed consent processes and ethical data handling.
o Participate in ethics submissions or internal research approvals when required.
o Adhere to ethical guidelines, data protection requirements, and research governance processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Counselling or Psychology
- Preferably with 1 to 2 years of direct practice experience in social service sector doing case management (youth-related work preferred) & interest and/or experience in research work.

o Knowledge of systems, availability of resources and ability to empower CRS beneficiaries and their families to access needed resources
Research & Evaluation Responsibilities (Integrated Role)
o The QA Case Worker plays a dual role in ensuring high-quality casework practice while contributing to the organisation's research, evaluation, and impact management efforts.
o This integrated function strengthens evidence-informed practice and continuous service improvement.
