Carpentry Supervisor

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of carpentry workers on site
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Plan and assign tasks to ensure project timelines are met
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards
• Inspect work progress and resolve technical issues on site
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades
• Monitor materials usage and report shortages or damages
• Train and guide junior carpenters and workers

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter with supervisory or foreman experience
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical plans
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Familiar with workplace safety regulations
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites
• Relevant certification or vocational training is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5-8 years of carpentry experience in construction or related industry
• At least 2-3 years in a supervisory / foreman role preferred
