Carpenter

Job Description

1. Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
2. To ensure good workmanship
3. Build items by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
4. Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
5. Assembles, install, and repairs furniture in client's place using hand tools
6. Coordinating jobsites
7. Ability to read technical documents and drawings
8. Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
9. Able to work independently
10. Adhere to safety standards and policies at all time
11. Ensure work site/work station is properly cleaned up and proper housekeeping are to be maintained at all time
12. Able to complete task within the timeline
13. To perform Ad hoc duties and other labour related duties as & when requested
14. Must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays

Job Requirements

1. Secondary/ Nitec Education (Technical & Maintenance)
2. At least two years of relevant working experience as a finished carpenter
3. Able to perform shift duties and work on weekends / Public Holidays
