Job Description

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
Preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
Selecting, measuring, and marking appropriate materials for interior paneling and trims.
Cutting and shaping materials and joining them using glue, nails, screws, and bolts.
Measuring, cutting, and installing various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, furniture, etc.
Erecting scaffolding or ladders as needed.
Collaborating with other carpenters, journeymen, and supervisors to complete projects.
