Carpenter Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

. Carry out and supervise skilled carpentry works for residential and commercial projects

. Read, interpret, and execute works based on detailed construction and shop drawings

. Operate carpentry tools, machinery, and power tools (e.g. electric saws) safely and efficiently

. Ensure all carpentry works meet required quality standards, specifications, and timelines

. Supervise, lead, and coordinate carpentry teams to ensure smooth daily operations

. Allocate tasks and monitor work progress to achieve timely completion of assigned works

. Ensure strict compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) rules and regulations

. Provide guidance and on-the-job training to carpentry workers when required

Job Requirements

. Proven experience in carpentry and supervisory roles is preferred

. Strong ability to read drawings and work independently with minimal supervision

. Good understanding of carpentry tools, materials, and safe work practices

. Hands-on experience in interior fit-out and furniture carpentry will be an advantage
