Job Description

We are seeking a highly strategic, data-driven Assistant Manager of Digital Performance Marketing to lead the customer acquisition and retention roadmap for pedroshoes.com. This leadership role goes beyond daily channel management; you will own the overarching performance media mix, forecast multi-channel budgets, and architect data solutions to drive sustainable business growth. You will guide junior team members and partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure digital advertising efforts seamlessly intersect with our commercial, UX, and brand objectives.

RESPONSIBILITES

Strategic Planning & Media Mix Ownership

  • Develop, own, and execute the comprehensive full-funnel performance marketing strategy across Meta, Google Ads (SEM, Display, Performance Max), TikTok, and emerging channels.
  • Define target KPIs (Blended ROAS, CAC, LTV) and translate business goals into actionable media plans.

Budget & Forecasting

  • Own the multi-channel digital marketing budget.
  • Forecast spend, model ROI scenarios, and dynamically reallocate funds across platforms and regions to maximize total ecommerce profitability and efficiency.

Advanced Analytics & Reporting

  • Lead the translation of complex campaign data into strategic business insights.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze clear executive dashboards (using tools like Excel, Looker Studio, or Power BI) to provide deep-dive analysis into full-funnel performance, customer acquisition costs, and channel attribution.

CDP & Retention Strategy

  • Leverage Customer Data Platforms (CDP) to build advanced audience segmentation.
  • Drive the strategy for highly personalized, automated marketing flows that increase customer retention and lifetime value.

Creative Strategy & Direction

  • Act as the strategic bridge between data and design.
  • Provide data-backed creative direction and comprehensive briefs to the Content and Creative teams, establishing a continuous feedback loop to optimize assets for conversion.

Testing & UX Integration

  • Design and govern a robust, continuous testing framework (A/B and multivariate) across ad creatives, audiences, and site landing pages.
  • Partner with ecommerce teams to ensure a seamless UX from ad click to checkout.

AI & Workflow Automation

  • Leverage generative AI and platform-native machine learning (e.g., Meta Advantage+, Google PMax, ChatGPT, or Claude) to accelerate data analysis, generate copy variations, and streamline daily operational workflows.

Affiliate & Partnership Leadership

  • Drive the strategic roadmap for the Affiliate Marketing program.
  • Negotiate commission structures, onboard high-tier networks, and cultivate top-performing partnerships to drive incremental revenue.

Team Mentorship & Leadership

  • Mentor and guide junior digital marketing executives.
  • Elevate the team's capabilities from basic operational execution to strategic, business-first thinking.

Executive Reporting

  • Present strategic performance reviews, market trends, and competitive analyses to senior management and key stakeholders, framing data around high-level commercial impact.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing and media buying, preferably within the fashion, retail, or ecommerce sector.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding, mentoring, and managing digital marketing teams, with a proven track record of elevating team capabilities and fostering a collaborative, business-first culture.
  • Advanced, technical expertise in the Meta Ads ecosystem and Google Ads.
  • Proven track record of managing significant ad budgets and successfully scaling accounts profitably.
  • Strong ability to translate complex digital metrics into clear business strategies.
  • A must to have deep expertise in Google Analytics (GA4), native ad platform reporting, and Excel.
  • Comfortable with data visualization tools (like Power BI or Looker Studio) to track full-funnel performance.
  • Forward-thinking mindset with demonstrated experience using AI tools to enhance productivity.
  • Ability to prompt effectively to extract data insights, brainstorm strategic angles, or optimize digital ad copy.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce strategy, customer journey mapping, and UX principles.
  • Experience integrating and utilizing Customer Data Platforms (CDP) is highly advantageous.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams (Creative, IT, Merchandising) and present complex strategies clearly to senior management.
  • A keen sense of fashion, an interest in styling, and a passion for the industry.
  • A vibrant, proactive, problem-solving attitude that thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Knowledge in Salesforce and/or Microsoft Power Platform is a strong plus.
