Job Description

  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other construction materials using hand and power tools.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to ensure accurate construction.
  • Constructing frameworks such as walls, floors, staircases, doorframes, and cabinets.
  • Installing features like doors, windows, paneling, and furniture.
  • Performing minor framing, drywall repair, and finishing tasks.
  • Selecting and sourcing appropriate materials, preparing estimates, and managing project timelines.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicating with clients, supervisors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
