Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our operations. This role is central to our production team, focusing on the fabrication and assembly of high-quality timber structures and bespoke furniture. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure all woodwork meets design specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for fabrication.

• Select and prepare timber and wood-based materials according to project requirements.

• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and power tools safely.

• Fabricate, assemble, and finish cabinets, furniture, and architectural joinery.

• Conduct on-site installations and minor repairs as required.

• Ensure all work adheres to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or a related trade.

• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical sketches and shop drawings.

• Skillset: Competency in using manual and automated woodworking tools.

• Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to meet project deadlines.

• Education: Relevant vocational training or trade certification is an advantage, but not required if significant experience is demonstrated.
