Carpenter

Monthly Salary: SGD $4,000 - $6,500
Employment Type: Full-Time

Perform carpentry fabrication, assembly and installation works for residential and commercial renovation projects.
Fabricate and install kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, built-in furniture, cupboards, shelving, doors, wall panels and other customised carpentry works.
Read and interpret drawings, sketches and specifications to determine job requirements.
Take accurate site measurements and prepare materials required for fabrication and installation.
Cut, shape, assemble and finish timber, plywood, laminates and other carpentry materials according to project requirements.
Operate woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools safely and correctly.
Carry out on-site installation, fitting, adjustment and rectification works.
Identify defects or installation issues and carry out the necessary corrective works.
Ensure completed works meet the required dimensions, finishing and workmanship standards.
Coordinate with project supervisors, designers and other trades during renovation works.
Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in good working condition.
Maintain good housekeeping at the workshop and project sites.
Comply with workplace safety and health requirements and company procedures.
Perform other carpentry and renovation-related duties as assigned.

Relevant working experience in carpentry, renovation or interior fit-out works.
Practical experience in fabrication and installation of cabinets, wardrobes and customised carpentry works.
Able to understand drawings, sketches and measurements.
Able to take site measurements independently.
Familiar with carpentry materials, laminates, fittings and hardware.
Able to operate woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
