Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to meet project requirements
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials as needed
Build and install items such as doors, window frames, staircases, floors, walls, partitions, and furniture
Operate hand tools and woodworking machines safely and efficiently
Perform repair and maintenance tasks as required
Set up scaffolding and temporary structures for construction projects
Ensure all work adheres to safety and quality standards

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a carpenter (construction or furniture making)
Proficient with carpentry tools and equipment, including both manual and power tools
Able to read and follow technical diagrams and measurements
Comfortable working in warm or humid environments
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Willing to work outside standard hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
