Our client is a Bunkering firm and they are looking to hire a dynamic individual to join their Cargo operations team as a Cargo Officer.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cargo operations and documentation processes.
- Safeguard the quality and quantity of products handled.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards, including SS648:2024, for all cargo loading, ex-bunker delivery, blending operations, and deliveries.
- Implement and monitor custody control procedures for cargo storage onboard bunker tankers and cargo transfers.
- Maintain accurate and timely inventory records in the stock movement logbook and daily ROB reports.
- Promptly escalate any customer complaints or disputes to the Operations Manager and support onsite investigations when required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a bunker clerk or cargo officer on bunker tankers.
- Certified in Basic & Advanced Bunkering Practices (SS600 & TR 48).
- Certified in the Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering (SS648:2024).
- Willing to work on rotational shifts and remain onboard the vessel as required.
