We are looking for a caring, reliable, and proactive Preschool Caretaker to support our youngest learners and their teachers in a warm, nurturing environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring the daily care, hygiene, and comfort of children aged 1.5 to 4 years old. One of the key responsibilities of this position is supporting children with personal hygiene, including diaper changing.

Holland International School in Singapore offers both a Dutch and an English stream. We provide education for children of parents who are working in Singapore. The school was established in 1920 and is governed by a School Board made up of parent representatives from various companies.

Role and responsibilities

• Support children with daily care routines such as diaper changing, toileting, and dressing, ensuring dignity, safety, and hygiene at all times.

• Monitor children for any signs of discomfort, illness, or developmental concerns and report to the teaching staff when needed.

• Assist teachers in setting up learning materials, managing transitions, and keeping the classroom tidy.

• Support during meals/snack time, naptime, and outdoor play.

• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff to ensure consistent care and support for each child.

• Follow all school and health guidelines for hygiene, cleaning, and infection control.

Candidates must have the following profile:

• Relevant ECDAAccredited Certification

• Comfortable and experienced with diaper changing and hygiene routines

• Patient, nurturing, and trustworthy with a genuine love for working with children

• Able to work in a small team and have a communicative and positive attitude

• English speaking
