Caregivers for Children & Young Persons

JOB SUMMARY
Support childminding services for children and young persons (CYPs) under the Child Protection framework. These CYPs may be placed in designated premises such as hospitals or disability homes for medical and/or social reasons, and require closer supervision and care, especially those with higher needs, disabilities, or medical conditions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring safety and supervision within placement premises
• Supporting daily routines (meals, hygiene, activities)
• Providing engagement and basic care support
• Accompanying children for medical procedures (non-clinical role)
• Monitoring, documentation, and escalation of concerns
• Supporting behaviour management and care transitions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5.5 days per week
• Various locations in Singapore
• Must have prior experience in managing children at student care centres, schools, welfare homes, childcares centres, pre-schools, counselling centres
• Must have relevant qualifications, e.g.
  Certificate in Child Psychology
  Certificate in Early Childhood Education
  Student Care Counsellors
  Other Certificate/Diploma/Degree related to CYPs caregiving
