Job Description: Care Agent
SG Assist is a social enterprise in Singapore established in 2018, focused on strengthening the ecosystem of care services through technology and community support. We operate Care Connect, a care monitoring and response service supporting seniors, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and caregivers.
Role Overview
The Care Agent plays a critical role in monitoring IoT-based assistive devices such as SOS buttons, fall detectors, and activity monitoring systems. The role focuses on safety monitoring, emergency assessment, and escalation following structured SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor alerts from SOS buttons, fall detectors, and activity monitors
- Assess alerts and determine emergency or non-emergency situations
- Contact seniors, caregivers, or next-of-kin to verify safety
- Escalate confirmed emergencies to SCDF (995), caregivers, or partners
- Follow escalation SOPs and document all actions taken
- Maintain accurate incident logs and CRM records
- Communicate calmly during high-stress situations
- Protect confidentiality and personal data
Skills & Requirements
- Calm and composed under pressure
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to follow SOPs and escalation flows
- Empathy when engaging seniors and PWDs
- Willingness to work rotational shifts
- Call centre, caregiving, healthcare, or emergency response experience
- Familiarity with IoT or monitoring systems
- Ability to converse in local languages or dialects
- Experience using CRM systems
Work Details
- Working Hours: 5.5-day rotational shifts (day & night)
- Salary: SGD 1,600 - 2,500 (depending on experience)
- Location: WFH and/or Khatib (near MRT)
- Training provided
